Grilled Morels

This is a fabulous way to enjoy morels. Tend them closely and you’ll be rewarded!

Bring grill to medium heat. Toss together:

1/4 lb. morels

1-2 Tbsp. butter, melted

1/4—1/2 tsp. minced garlic (or 1/2—1 tsp. minced ramps)

Place in a grill basket and grill them, tossing often, until they’re golden and just slightly crisped on the edges. It will take about 8-12 minutes, but watch carefully.

Season with salt and pepper to your taste and enjoy right away.
