Broccoli & Cheese Pizza


Creamy and filling- this is pizza comfort food!

1 prepared pizza crust

Approx. 3-4 Tbsp. cream cheese, or other spreadable cheese (or use white/Béchamel sauce)

Olive oil

4 c. small-chopped broccoli florets and stems

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

½ c. shredded parmesan

½ c. shredded mozzarella (or tangy cheese, like gouda)

Optional: ¼ c. toasted, sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 425.

Spread a thin layer of cream cheese (takes about 3-4 Tbsp.) over pizza crust, leaving about 1" border around edges. Brush border with olive oil.

Steam broccoli for 1-2 minutes, just until bright green. Cool slightly. Toss with lemon juice and parmesan. Scatter evenly over the cream cheese layer. Top with mozzarella and almonds, if using.

Bake for about 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
