If you like the taste of sweet and spicy hoisin sauce, you'll enjoy the flavor of this easy skillet dinner.

Olive oil

1/2 lb. beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized strips or pieces

1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce

1 Tbsp. rice vinegar

2 tsp. cornstarch

1 Tbsp. water

1 large clove garlic, minced or pressed

6-8 thin green onions, cut into strips about 1/4"-1/2" x 2"-3" long

Saute the beef in 1 Tbsp. olive oil until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Whisk together the hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, corn starch, and water.

Add a drizzle of olive oil to the skillet, and saute the green onion and garlic for about 2 minutes, then stir in the hoisin sauce mixture. Return the beef to the skillet and toss all together to coat well, and re-warm. Add a splash more water if needed.

Serve right away over rice.
