The whole "sticks" of spring onion on this pizza remind me of little firecrackers! Perfect for July 4th weekend -or anytime- lunch. Very simple, tasty, and light. I had a radish leftover, so added some slices- it was a yummy addition; next time, I'll add several sliced radishes.
1 prepared pizza crust
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 small clove garlic, minced or crushed (or 2 tsp. minced garlic scape)
6 (+/-) spring onions, cut in half lengthwise
3 (+/-) Tbsp. fresh spring herbs -or 2-3 tsp. dried basil
1/2 c. (+/-) shredded mozarella or swiss cheese
Preheat oven to 425.
Stir minced garlic into olive oil, then lightly brush the entire crust with mixture. If using scapes, just scatter them over the oil. Arrange the onions evenly around the pizza.
Sprinkle with herbs, then cheese.
Bake until golden, about 12 minutes.
