This is an amazing, no mess way to grill salmon.

How to Grill Salmon Fillets using “The Old Paper Bag Trick”:

Cut open a brown paper grocery bag, so that the paper is a single sheet when laid flat. Place the salmon fillet, skin side down, on the paper. Using a scissors, cut around the salmon, staying close to the fillet, so your paper shape is the same size as the salmon.

Place salmon on the preheated gas grill with paper underneath. It won’t burn. Really. Grill on high for approx.14 minutes, or until done. Do not flip!

Remove the salmon fillet from the grill; the paper will be stuck to the skin. Using a spatula, gently remove the paper from the fillet before serving. (Turn upside down to do this) The skin will easily come off with the paper. Voila!

*Don’t forget to wash your scissors when you’re done cutting!

**Don’t use this method when using a recipe or marinade with oil. Oil burns!
